The end is near. Of the year 2009 and of the noughties as a whole, that is. Usually everyone starts making lists at this point. I want to do that too, but I can’t remember what movies I saw or which concerts I particularly liked. The reasons are very clear: in sharp contrast to all of my best friends, movies just aren’t that big a part of my life, and I’ve been going to concerts...

Ah, today I had a date with the only lady that’ll never let me down, Suzy Santa Cruz a.k.a. my snowboard. It has been some time since I rode her, but it was as smooth as ever before, which is still quite bumpy, since I’m not that good a boarder. But it was loads of fun.
I’m looking forward to visiting NY in a few months, but it’s also a bit saddening that I can’t go...
